Lift the upper shingle and secure the new ones with roofing nails. (You may also want to dab a small amount of roofing sealant on the nails to have a watertight finish.) Lastly, press the shingles down and let the heat from the sun do the rest. It will seal the shingles in place after the adhesives become activated by heat.

For a shingle that is curled, you can easily secure it by applying a bit of roofing sealant under the corner and weighing it down with a brick. Just be cautious and do not let the sealant touch the brick. A cracked shingle can be fixed by simply lifting one side of it and applying a thin line of roofing sealant under it using a caulking gun. Apply another line of sealant above the crack and spread it evenly on top of the shingle.

For a smoother finish, look for a handful of shingle granules that may have accumulated from the gutter and sprinkle them on top of the sealant. Repairing a flat roof is an entirely different story. You can remove puddles temporarily by using a sponge to absorb the water and then transferring it to a bucket. But consulting professionals will be the best way to go since diagnosing flat roof problems are quite challenging and how to fix them is not relatively easy. Besides, you might do more harm by stepping around in boots.
Every bathroom has a bathtub seal that may need repair. Protect your roof with rubber shingles roofing. For speed boats, consider boat ramp construction contractors.
